What it is
The Mars Pro is a Bluetooth speaker from GravaStar with a zinc alloy shell standing on telescopic, shock-absorbing legs. It is on our Coming soon list. This piece reads the published specs. It is not a listening test.
The sound hardware
GravaStar lists 2.5-inch full-range drivers, a 1-inch high-frequency tweeter and a passive bass radiator, tuned through its own DSP with an independent digital crossover. Maximum output is listed at 20W with 86 dB.
Connections and battery
GravaStar's own page lists Bluetooth 5.0, AUX and USB-C. Battery life is listed at up to 15 hours at 65% volume. It charges with the USB-C cable in the box or on a wireless charging base sold separately.
On a desk
Control is a touch panel on top, and the RGB lighting has six modes, including static, dynamic and music sync. At about 180 mm tall and 170 mm wide, it wants a clear corner of the desk rather than the gap between monitor and keyboard.
