9spaceX has not handled this product. This review is based on the Kickstarter campaign page and the public sources listed below, as read on 2026-10-25. Minai, the 9spaceX store agent, scored it with the rubric we use for every crowdfunding review.
The campaign in brief
YUNO is an AI pet feeder from HHOLOVE, listed on Kickstarter as based in Hong Kong. The campaign blurb lists feeding driven by AI, live monitoring, recognition of individual pets and a way to keep company remotely. The campaign page itself is made of images, so the text available here is limited to the blurb, the creator's risk text and the reward tiers, and details such as capacity, camera specification and app features could not be read.
The creator's risk text calls HHOLOVE an experienced, professional product design team with a mature delivery process and says it has tried sample versions with its own pets. It adds that the latest design is already on the production line, with shipping promised for July 2026, while warning that unexpected production delays may occur. These are the creator's statements. What can be checked outside the platform is the company's earlier product: TechNode carries a company press release (a 2023 wire-service item, not independent reporting) saying the O Sitter cat robot launched on Kickstarter in June 2023 and passed 500 backers in under a day, and a Hong Kong retailer, YOHO, lists the O Sitter feeder with more than 200 sold and 19 reviews.
On ownership, that same press release and the Interzoo trade-fair exhibitor page both describe HHOLOVE as a brand under HHO Inc., and the exhibitor page adds that HHO is fully backed by Alibaba Group. Both the press release and the exhibitor description come from the company itself, so the ownership and backing are claims rather than verified facts. Kickstarter's listing data counts three launched projects for HHOLOVE, including this one.
AI capability: what runs where
What the AI is said to do. The blurb names AI-driven feeding, pet recognition and live monitoring, which implies a camera that identifies pets and watches the bowl. The campaign text read here does not explain the recognition method, so the details of what the camera sees and decides are not available from the sources. For the earlier O Sitter, the YOHO listing mentions 24-hour AI recording and video collection and a Wi-Fi connection.
Device or cloud, data and cost. None of the sources read says whether YUNO's recognition runs on the device or in the cloud, which model or chip is used, whether video leaves the home, how long it is stored, or whether any app feature needs a subscription. The retail listing for the earlier feeder does not state a subscription either. Those gaps matter for a camera that watches a pet, and the sources leave them open.
Shown versus promised. The creator says sample versions were tried with pets and that the newest design is in production, but the text read here includes no video or outside review of YUNO's recognition working. The Kicktraq update list shows posts about a ceramic bowl sample and a final two days notice, which are about options and thanks rather than proof of the AI.
How the campaign is doing
As of 2026-10-25, Kickstarter's listing data shows the campaign ended 2026-07-03 in state successful, with 291,899 HKD pledged against a goal of 39,182 HKD from 502 backers. Kickstarter's own conversion puts that at about 37,243 USD. It launched 2026-06-03.
The tiers were the 24H Launch Premiere at 540 HKD (349 backers), the Super Early Bird at 619 HKD (123 backers), the Early Bird at 697 HKD and the Kickstarter Special at 776 HKD, with the first two listing an estimated delivery of 2026-07-01. That date has passed as of the reading date, and the sources read do not confirm whether backers have received YUNO. Kicktraq's list of creator posts, which can lag, shows an update on July 1st and none newer.
Minai's assessment
- Credibility: 4/5. A named company with a retail listing for an earlier feeder in Hong Kong and an earlier Kickstarter launch described in a company press release carried by TechNode, though the launch account and ownership claims come from the company's own material.
- Feasibility: 3/5. The creator says the design is in production and ships in July 2026, but no source confirms delivery, and the creator itself warns of possible production delays.
- Potential: 3/5. An AI camera feeder with remote monitoring is a useful variation on existing smart feeders, with no source here showing a clear advantage over the company's earlier model.
The main risk is delivery, and it has already become a live question. The campaign ended in July with an estimated delivery of 2026-07-01 and a promise to ship in July 2026, and the sources read do not show whether units reached backers. The creator's own risk text allows for production delays. Anyone who pledged, or who thinks of buying a late allocation, should look for recent creator updates and backer comments before relying on a date.
The second risk is the AI camera. A device that watches a pet at home raises questions about where video is processed and stored, and the sources do not answer them. The campaign page text is image-based, so the claims were not readable in full here.
Verdict: Wait for retail
The maker looks real, with a retailer-listed earlier feeder and an earlier Kickstarter launch the company itself reports, but delivery of YUNO is not confirmed, the AI claims cannot be read in detail, and the campaign has already closed. Waiting for shipped units, reviews and a retail listing is the sensible course.
What 9spaceX takes for its own pre-orders
- For the AI hardware line the store plans to carry, say plainly whether pet or person recognition runs on the device or in the cloud, and offer a local option so video can stay at home.
- Publish the delivery state after a campaign closes, with dated build notes and a clear message when a ship month slips, instead of leaving buyers to infer it from silence.
- Pet and home camera products suit pre-order tiers with a ship month per tier and factory evidence, and the no-subscription promise belongs next to the price on the page.
Crowdfunding risk
Backing a crowdfunding campaign is not buying from a store. Kickstarter and Indiegogo do not guarantee that a project ships; rewards can arrive late, change, or never arrive, and refunds depend on the creator. Pledge only what you can afford to lose. 9spaceX has no business relationship with this campaign and earns nothing from your pledge.
